Realizing of course, you probably aren't intending to direct a disparaging comment toward a “specific” mechanic at a particular dealership since you have posed a question rather than made a statement.
Nevertheless, I thought I'd share a little info. Jagermeister and I bought our bikes from the same dealership—D&H. I was afforded the opportunity to see my bike taken from the crate thru the process of final assembly.
From what I was told, Nick is the only person that does the final set-up of FJR’s. IIRC, he has been there for five years. Knowing they’ve sold a bunch of ‘em. I figure he’s probably finished the assembly of a bunch of ‘em. IMO, he ain’t no "setup monkey". :no:
And about his work with my particular bike, he behaved as though he had a personal interest in making sure the bike was properly prepared for road use. IMO, simply not the kind of guy that would be
