No One,
I saw some info regarding this with pictures here:

Beating the BMW GS in its market (the market niche it stated and, currently, owns) will be difficult. Americans who can afford expensive motorcycles want GSs (even some FJR Forum members readily admit their lust for them...)....IMHO, I wouldn't hold my breath for it coming to America any time soon. Unless they really think it will challenge the R1200GS. I'd think it would have to be lighter than the GS and cost less to really be a factor, but that is just me. I think if it was both of those it would do well due to the dealer network too.

As a 2-wheeled version of the universally popular S.U.V., the BMW GS appears to "walk on water"? How many negative comments have you ever heard? Never mind that the engine/drive train is a catastrophy of 'heroic' engineering trying to make an ancient 50 year old + concept valid among many much more modern designs.
As long as marketing rules the market (and the public refuses to study/research/gain knowledge), the GS rules.
Yamaha will be exceedingly brave to enter that market (remember, the FJR was [at one time] too risky for America...).
Just added more info to the first post... I have more info if you like... Cant wait for it to come out !Is there any more info on the engine spec's? Besides the 1200CC obviously.
I would luv to try this bike! It's not the Super, but this guys seems like he's having fun on the 660.
- Possible Öhlins suspension (like the WP KTM suspension) (Yamaha owns Öhlins, so its a possibility)

You are a bit out of date, Yamaha never owned more than 50 percent of Ohlins and currently only owns 5 percent.
