    the only bikes, beside gold wings, are all looking the same :( , and don't feel like ride 2 hours on a tracer, tenere.... real touring bikes are hard to find here.

    Keep her :) my 2nd wife tells me that i should buy a new motorcycle, i answered that i love the FJR to much, she replied : but you can keep the fjr ! but as yamaha doesn't sell FJR's no more in europe ....

    Problem changing from 2nd to 1st while rolling to stop

    had the same thing, later the other gears start acting strange too, check if the shift lever goes in neutral position, otherwise, like Whooshka wrote, cleaning and greasing the lever did the trick, now as smooth as butter

    i drive motorcycles more than 30 years and always use army boots, i have wide feet, size 49 in europe, think 12.5 in usa, if you polish them regulary, they are waterproof, flexible after 1 month and they last 3 à 4 years
