The NERDS Grand Webmaster Extraordinaire, FJRed, has got the 2013 NERDS Merchandise web page loaded up and we are now ready to take your orders!!
We've got both Mens and Womens long sleeves and also short sleeve tee shirts, along with some limited edition, ultra-collectible, coffee cups and frosted beer mugs all available for purchase. Just make your selections and pay via Paypal and all of your goodies will be delivered to you in person at the NERDS '13 event in Stowe this August.
We've gone back to the omni-popular darker colors this year (black, navy blue and dark green), with a custom logo designed by our resident Vermont graphics expert (also FJRed) with a tasteful, VT Covered Bridges motif in an ultra-chic and nicely muted color scheme representing the low-key nature of all things NERDS. (Thank God for FJRed or we'd never have any of this cool stuff!!)
So check it all out on the FJR-NERDS website and get your orders in before the July 20th deadline. Don't be the only square there without some of this classic NERDS gear.
As an aside, this year in keeping with the ultra low-brow flavor of the NERDS event, there won't be any drawings, door prize or gimmees at the Friday night BBQ. So your best chance of getting any of this cool stuff will be to make an order in advance. We all just felt that we were trending too far into the hype and hoopla that many of the bigger owners group meetings strive for, and straying somewhat from our original grassroots ideals. That and we're a lazy bunch of SOBs and just wanted to enjoy the weekend ourselves.
