This bike also has a custom backrest for your passenger there is also a charger that comes with it. Man, I forgot to charge my backrest this winter, better get on it.

...cash in hand gets you the keys. This is a cash deal. $7,500.

It'd make a feller think that this transaction would be hard to trace...(he only mentions the keys, not the title) ;)

If it's an AE and he rode it for 4,900 miles and calls it an automatic transmission, he obviously hasn't stepped one foot in this Forum Ever! and doesn't know anything about the bike. On those grounds alone I'd pass on that one. :))

Based on where he lives, one of the most expensive cities in Silicone Valley, he is probably a prissy weekend rider who knows nothing about the bike. Hopefully he did not have it long and the next owner will take care of the bike and pay a reasonable price (<$7k).

Those are probably reasons why someone should buy the bike. I would bet all the maintenance was done at a dealer and he hasn't pretended he knows something about electronics when he does not. Half the bikes on this Forum have been molested by half-assed mechanics that think they know what they're doing because they read it on the internet. I bet the seller has no complaints about 90% of the stuff that gets brought up here every week.

Damn! You might have a good point there, Zilla!
True. I only found out what I was supposed to be mad about after I got here and read about all these problems. I am still waiting to experience most of them!

Although that mean little comment, "molested by half-assed mechanics that think they know what they are doing because they read it on the internet." hit just a little too close to home. Just to set the record straight, I never once thought I knew what I was doing.

It does seem to be in good shape though and hopefully the new owner will show up here and share in our wisdom.

I let my backrest discharge once Alan.. Ended up with flat tires, bike on it's side and water in the carburetor!!!

DON'T LET YOUR BACKREST DISCHARGE!!
