Does anyone have a list of error codes for the 2013 fjr? When I turn on my ignition key, the multi-display shows '069' -- I don't know if that is an error code or what? Any ideas out there?
... maybe fooled the ECU into this logic: "in gear, engine revs, rear tire spins, front tire does not. Ergo, abnormal front wheel sensor signal.""Front whell sensor: no nomal signal are received from the front wheel sensor." <snip>
Running the rear wheel without the front wheel turning guarantees an error, it's the ABS complaining about not receiving a signal from the front when it's getting one from the back. Very reasonable of it.Thanks for the feedback guys. I had just changed the oil and fired it up on the centerstand and put it in gear to run the rear end. That was my end of season ritual so I did not ride it on the roads. I wonder if running it in gear on the centerstand would cause this error code - more importantly if I ride it, will the error code go away ?? Won't be able to find that out until probably March or April here in Minnesnowta...........
ABS will generate an error regardless of whether a brake is applied. Done this when I played running up and down the gears on my '14 AS (AE) on its centre-stand.Without the brake being applied, would the ABS generate an error? (I don't know, just asking) I was thinking it would be more likely an error generated by the traction control...
According to my Haynes workshop manual, error 69 simply says "Front wheel sensor", which is what you would expect it to say. Absolutely nothing to worry about over the next six snow-filled months ...., the error code was 69, not 67....
Sorry, don't have head and butt wired. I was looking at 69 in the manual, don't know how it became 67 when I typed it.-- btw, the error code was 69, not 67............
Correction, mine's a 2014 FJR1300AS, which if available in the 'States, would be an FJR1300AE. Unfortunately I can't call it what it is because it's not in the list provided for our profiles, hence the line above my avatar picture.mcatrophy,Please keep in mind that you have an ES Gen III (world) and we have been discussing a 13 A Gen III (North America). There are differences, even some between A and ES. My manual is for a 13 A Gen III and goes into great detail on the ABS side in chapter 8 pages 123 to 125. Error 69 is in a separate section. When push comes to shove, I do believe as others have noted these errors will reset, especially the ABS_11 and ABS_25. The only thing that I would be concerned about would be if the 69 did not reset by itself which would indicate some kind of sensor issue beyond the rear spinning and the front standing still.

The error code you received is regarding a fault in the TC. It will always display when you put the bike on the center stand and run it, like after changing the rear end oil or after an oil change. The front wheel is stationary an de rear wheel is spinning. The system reads a a fault, just like it is supposed to. I just received the same code on my 2015ES.Thanks for the feedback guys. I had just changed the oil and fired it up on the centerstand and put it in gear to run the rear end. That was my end of season ritual so I did not ride it on the roads. I wonder if running it in gear on the centerstand would cause this error code - more importantly if I ride it, will the error code go away ??
