Clearwater Lights Group Buy 2015
======================================
>>>>>>>> - - - - 3/05 UPDATE: New light set added, Sevina! - - - - <<<<<<<<
Hey Gang... the group buy for Clearwater lights is back by popular demand for a 4th year!
If you aren't familiar with Clearwater LEDs yet, click the banner link at the top of the page which will take you to their website. I'm not affiliated with them and I'm only setting this up for those interested in upgrading their lighting and looking to save a little with a forum discount. Before I get in trouble here I want to run through a few points:
- Yes, CW lights are expensive!
- I'm not here to step on anyones toes and I know there are already several group buys active for LED lights... please buy the lights you want and don't assume I'm here to take over the light market. There's plenty of room for several options and choices make a better shopping experience!
- We are all on a budget to some degree, if lighting isn't the place you want to drop a few bennies that's totally fine!
- Darla 4,000 lumens (per set), 20 watts (colored trim rings available at extra cost)
- $425.00 (our price) Savings of $75
- Mirror Brackets: I know some members were interested in mounting Darlas under their mirrors instead of Kristas or Ericas. Glenn said that's no problem, they would work in that location. If you want the FJR specific mirror brackets he is dropping $25 off:
- $ 50.00 (our price)
- Krista2S 6,000 lumens (per set, up from 4,800 in the original), 36 watts, 8º beam angle (Krista now boasts 30% more light in a longer reaching beam)
- $549.00 (our price) includes FJR mirror brackets. Savings of $170
- (Clearwater's Krista page isn't updated with the new output ratings yet, but the new lights are shipping)
- Erica2 12,000 lumens (per set), 60 watts, 15º beam angle (Now boasting 30% more light, more efficiency and European standard Radio noise reduction)
- $749.00 (our price) includes FJR mirror brackets. Savings of $170
- (Clearwater's Erica page isn't updated with the new output ratings yet, but the new lights are shipping)
- Sevina 15,000 lumens (per set), 80 watts (estimated) This light is new as of January 15, is 4" wide, and has a beam spread of 8° for a focused driving beam. Basically a flamethrower!
- $1,099.00 (street price, no forum discount on these) Lights only, no brackets at that price.
- (Clearwater's main page isn't updated to show these yet, but these are shipping with about a 2 week delay at this point)
- Andie 1,000 lumens, handheld rechargeable flashlight comparable in size to Streamlight and Surefire
- $ 99.00 (our price) Includes 100~240 volt charger and 2 rechargeable batteries. Savings of $20
- The new Clearwater LORETTA Dive light is durable and flexible SCUBA Dive light With a water tight rating of 300', this light is ready for your next undersea adventure or simply to clean the bottom of your pool at night.
- $119.00 (our price) includes 2 Lithium Ion 3.7 volt batteries and 100~240 volt charger that can charge 1 or 2 batteries. Savings of $30
- The new Clearwater Shelby bike light is rugged and tough. Five light modes are accessible. High (900Lumens), Med (450L), Low (225L), Extreme Low (100L) and Strobe (450L).
- $119.00 (our price) includes Battery pack with (4) Lithium Ion 3.7v batteries, 100~240 volt charger, helmet mount, handlebar mount, and head strap mount. Savings of $30
- NOTE: Glenda is phasing out from their product line & isn't a part of this group buy, if for some reason you really want 800 lumen lights you can ask... but they don't have any in stock at this time.
So just like last year, please wait until March 14th to call Clearwater! Everyone last year was polite and really nice, and if Jolin is happy with us then we'll get another group buy in the future!
- Give them a call at: 916-852-7029
- Contact for this group buy is: Jolin Lykins
- Mention group buy code: FJR2015GB
I think thats it for now, hope y'all have fun ordering and installing... you'll be ready for riding season when it finally arrives for all of us.
P.S. If you're interested in a personal rider's POV article about the new Krista2 lights, check out this write up by a BMW K1600 rider.
Thanks again and until the next update...
