While they are actually still setting up (and even have a few contractors finishing up construction), Sunnyside Motorcycle Company has opened it's doors in the new facility in Prosser, Washington.

SWEET!!!

Good for Dan.

Remember Cali players, Washington state adapted Cali's smog laws so they can now sell bikes LEGALLY to CA residents.

There are lots of good dealers out there, but to my mind nobody can beat Denchals service or prices.

I can't wait to see the new store!

I'm heading down next week for a tire swap and will try and snap a few pictures.

Do you have more details on this? I'm thinking it might have been ESHB 1397, but think it may have only been cars....and with a big phase-in schedule to like 2010 or something. I do see this law synopsis, but it doesn't jump out at me that everybody knows they can sell stuff to CA residents. Ya know.

Thanks.

It would take checking the smog stickers on the bikes and seeing if they are the same as Kali.

I had the opportunity to stop in the new store last week. It is very nicely done. There is a lot of showroom space, and from what I was told will have two walls worth of accessories + floor space.

The service side will have 5 - 6 work stations for bikes and.....plenty of room for the next tech west! Dan's son was good enough to give me a complete tour of the new facility. Be sure and check out the mens restroom when you stop in. Something different...

Impressive new place.

YOU BASTARD! We finally got enough ice melted from the driveway that we could MAYBE get the bikes out onto the street...Now it's snowing again. (should have seen us last weekend trying to load my RT into the back of a pickup so it could go to it's new California home. What a hoot, that big bike slip sliding sideways as they tried to ride it up a ramp, now we should have gotten pictures of THAT!)

This is the best picture of Guru Glenn I've ever seen. He's like Bosley, Wilson, and Carmine the Doorman all wrapped up in earthtone tile. The digs seem definitely several big steps up!

Sorry, but I suck. The tire would be sitting in the trunk of my Jetta and bike is still seriously torn apart. Amazing how much time it takes to do electrics right....or at least to a level that Warchild wouldn't point and laugh. I'd offer an updated picture of the bike, but suffice it to say it's even more torn apart than this.

I'm hoping another week or two.

Ok girls, brush up on your hiking/camping skills before you visit Desert Valley Powersports and pee in the men's room! :yahoo:

Ignacio

What are you doing to your bike, it looks real naked sitting there like that.

Is that the new adress on the website? Looks like quite the shop, I'll have to stop by this spring.

Here's the solicited email I got from Seth a few days ago.

"Thank you for signing up for our e-mail alert system. It is a very exciting time for all here at Desert Valley because we are finally settled into our new high-tech facility. New units are rolling in daily, fresh shipments of apparel and aftermarket accessories grace our walls, and the service department is prepared to make whatever you ride ready for the season.

Come celebrate our Grand Opening!!!!! We are kicking the celebration off starting Thursday, March 15th through Saturday, March 17th. We have expanded our hours of operation to 8pm for those 3 days so everyone can fit our special occasion into their schedules.

There will be special events organized throughout the grand opeing celebration and I will send a more detailed list once the last few details are finalized.

Look forward to seeing you there,

Seth Johnson

Can anyone look at the WA stickers and confirm whether they are indeed CA certified.
