When installing my Speigler fron rotors I noticed the poor quality of the OEM caliper mounting fasteners and,following Warchild's suggestion,ordered Ti bolts from Tastynuts. Six days later,they are here from the UK.

Great service and they match the blue caliper inserts. They are not cheap but look reat and shave off another few ounces of unsprung weight.

The gold-anodized Titainium carrier bolts do look pretty good on the rotor, don't they?

Wouldn't just a Grade 8 bolt - that I can get at NAPA - be sufficent? I've bought several from them over the years.

I can't imagine ordering special bolts from the UK would be any better....save for the color.

 
The fancy Ti bolts cost 28 UK pounds delivered. Not cheap but they do look great.

I'm sure any ole grade 8 bolt will do quite well but it won't look like these!
