If anyone knows someone who wrecks their FJR, or someone who knows of a place that is parting out an FJR, please let me know. I need a rear sub frame.

Thanks,

Keith

March 6th, it was a 2005! I got outbid, then entered my next bid like 2 seconds too late. I could have got the damn thing for like 150 bucks plus shipping. What a pisser.
BidNapper :good: Good for when you can't be around, like the radar detector I scored at 3:21am today while asleep. Toecutter like BidNapper. Sniping, explained

But it's a little slow. On the last thing I sniped manually, my bid was registered in the same second as the auction closed! :yahoo:

BidNapper registered this morning's bid with 3 seconds to spare. Good enough, for a software program that lets me be doing something else.

They offer a two-week free trial. Don't buy anything from them before the end of the trial period. I paid for a lot of ten snipes for $19 and they charged me for the first one, even though it was the first day of my "Free" trial. I've contacted them and we'll see what their response is....

march 23rd,,, fjr salvage titled bike for auction. most of right side fairing is lost. ad says runs and drives good. Maybe keep an eye on auction, get most of new bike for cheap. Think the opening bid was $99 . cant remember model year, but think it was '06. looked like he layed it down, no impact with car

forgot,,, its on ebay

Just an update. A friend found a cracked subframe as well as me and had it welded up. He reports the welder did a great job and even beefed up the structural points. Cost was about $100.

I'm going to be writing this up once I get my frame welded, but here's a couple advance pics of the before on Tobie's. Interestingly, IronMaiden's '06 with the same Pelican case setup was not cracked. Seems Gen II owners have a stouter sub frame.

Update - They quickly and courteously credited my account and said to contact them if there were any more issues. :good:

I couldn't find the 06 salvage on ebay.... I'm not even sure if the subframe on the 06 is the same as the 04...

Garauld: I'm not sure it can be welded because the peice is hollow, the sub-frame is also bent. I can get a replacement for $275 shipped. I'm thinking that may be the best option.
