Here's another chart to google at.
I was entertained the first time, but don't feel particularly obligated to engage in Google research projects to put your arcane mish-mash of data in context for our readers. I'll leave it to you to cite your sources instead.

Thanks for the graph though. Pretty colors! :good:

Denver running on empty April 27, 2007

"There is no gas in Denver," said Bryant Gimlin, energy risk manager at Fort Lupton-based Gray Oil Co., a wholesale distributor of gasoline and diesel. "The situation here is worse than how it was after Hurricane Katrina."
No doubt we will have $3 a gallon," said Roy Turner of the Colorado Wyoming Petroleum Marketers Association, which represents half the states' gasoline dealers.

"We are going into the peak driving season with the lowest inventories we have had," Turner said. "It doesn't look good right now."

The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

Yo Cap'n, perhaps a career change is in order. Maybe you should transition to Captain Crunch. Your life would be a whole hell of a lot less stressful.

From the link you provided...............

In Denver, regular gas price is only one cent more than a year ago, and diesel only 8 cents more than a year ago. BFD!!!!

And ****, I have been paying more than $3 a gallon for regular gas in Arizona for a while now. Waaaaaaaaah! And I am guessing my FJR brothers in the People's Republik of Kaifornia, Chicago, and New York are paying a hell of a lot more than that.

So Cap'n - what rock is it, exactly, that you live under?

LONDON -- It's more bad news for US motorists, who are paying all-time high gasoline prices: European gasoline traders have been forced to revise down their estimates of the volume of gasoline moving trans-Atlantic this month amid fears of a local supply crunch.

Traders now think April traffic will be less than 1 million tons (280,000...

Boy, this sure is interesting...what's the price of cheese in Scotland anyway? As long as yer at it. We NEED graphs, too. spit - spot!

Hank, Hank, Hank... What are you fretting about? You have pedal power for the summer and for the winter, you could always strap your pooch to your Flexible Flyer and yell, "Mush, boy! Mush!" See? I just solved all your problems. No need to thank me. ;)

And Iggy picks today to become "kinder and gentler."

Sorry. I've been off to other websites getting my political fix. Found some great stuff on the Internet about world energy policy and thought I'd stop back by to see what's going on on the FJRForum.

Nope. No FJR's in here. Off to other threads. Carry on folks with the Friday frivolities. ;)

Yessireee! I can't even tell you when it was under $3 here. But I'm doing my part for oil conservation. My car hasn't left the garage in weeks. I've been killing rubber trees though...throttle isn't kind to tires.

+1

My truck has left the driveway 3 times in two weeks. Twice to get groceries and once to carry a bunch of stuff to work for our annual picnic.

And let me guess...had it not been for the picnic you wouldn't have needed enough groceries to warrant starting the truck, huh?

I have no idea how Captain America can be so worried about running out of gas when clearly we will be dead from global warming first.

Global warming isn’t opinion. It’s a scientific reality. And the science tells us that human activity has made enormous impacts to our planet that affect our well-being and even our survival as a species.

The world’s leading science journals report that glaciers are melting ten times faster than previously thought, that atmospheric greenhouse gases have reached levels not seen for millions of years, and that species are vanishing as a result of climate change. They also report of extreme weather events, long-term droughts, and rising sea levels.

Malaria. Dengue Fever. Encephalitis. These names are not usually heard in emergency rooms and doctors’ offices in the United States. But if we don’t act to curb global warming, they will be. As temperatures rise, disease-carrying mosquitoes and rodents spread, infecting people in their wake. Doctors at the Harvard Medical School have linked recent U.S. outbreaks of dengue fever, malaria, hantavirus and other diseases directly to climate change.

[whine] You have to do your part to prevent this terrible global catastrophy. Please go to Stop Global Warming and learn how you can do your part to keep this from happening. Do you realize that there will be thousands of penguins going to bed tonight without any assurance that they will have ice tomorrow? There are polar bears that know what seals look like but they don’t have any in their backyard anymore. Please don’t let this tragedy continue and adopt a bear or penguin today. Stop the Heat will see that 90% of what you contribute goes directly to your bear or penguin. Do your part, help them to a better life. [/whine]

We all must do what ever we can to avoid scenes like these:

And we have a winner.

We're done with these types of threads Captain. No more please.
