This is a spinoff thread from NH Fall Ride for those of us interested in the 10/13 date. So let me be first, I will be there (modulo severe weather). Ion are you willing to lead this group?

The second Covered Bridges Ride is scheduled for 10/13/07. The ride will begin from Manchester, NH; Rt. 93, exit 9 on the Danial Webster Hwy/Rt. 3/28; exit 93 toward Manchester. We will meet in the parking lot of the Burger King. The ride leaves at 9:00.

Only the starting point has changed, the ride will go through Hancock and past Fiddlehead's.

FJReady, you may want to hook up with me so we can ride to Manchester together. V65, if we know where you will be staying it may be easier for us to meet you, rather than you navigating over to the BK.

The first Covered Bridges Ride was a great sucess! See trip pixs here.

I hope to make this ride as well. If all else fails it could be a VT/NH run. It'll be slow going due to the "leaf peepers" for sure.

Tom

It's on my calendar too. I'm hoping that perhaps the peak leaf peeping season will have passed by then and therefore fewer Buicks and Camrys with white haired drivers.

Well, I couldn't figure out how to get a tent and two sleeping bags on the Feej, so we booked a hotel for Friday and Saturday night. I didn't find anything in the Keene area, had to got to Manchester - I think we can expect a few gray hairs. Looking forward to a great ride anyways! :clapping:

Thanks for the offer ionbeam, not sure where I'll be on Sat (North or East) plus I see it's 3+hrs to get there from Lk G.

Have a great ride! Take lots of pixs again!

I suspect Alan is busy working on his skoot: clicky. It sounds like this ride is canceled. For anyone that is interested, there is another ride on the 14th being led posted on sport-touring.net I think we will try to hook up with.

EDIT: I heard from Ionbeam, the ride on the 13th is officially canceled.

I led this ride on the 29th Sept from Hancock and will be doing it again with Seacoast Ducati this Sunday the 14th Oct.

You can start in Derry with Dave who will be leading the ride to Hancock or meet me at Fiddleheads cafe in Hancock at 9:00. I will take over at this point and lead the ride to our lunch stop in Walpole. Then it's off to Greenfield where we'll watch the Trebuchet and end the ride.

Hope some of you who could not make it on the 29th and now the 13th are able to join us on the 14th.

What is a Trebuchet?

This will be a fairly long ride at a mellow pace! Last ride of the season for Seacoast!

Re: The Covered Bridges Ride Take II

Given the near freezing temperatures expected tomorrow morning, plan on meeting at Fiddleheads a half hour later, 9:30. This will give us a little more time for things to warm up. The Seacoast guys aren't expected to arrive until then anyway.
