I have an 04 which needs some service done. I live in the Austin Tx area but will ride 100 miles for service I can trust. Anyone in the area have any good, or bad experiances?

I live in College Station but ride every 4,000 miles to Woods Fun Center for service. They have done all service on my bike (so far @ 30,000 miles) and I couldn't be happier.

Try central texas power sports in Georgetown. I've been using them for almost two years and have no complaints.

Although my bike is currently at Alamo Cycleplex for warranty camchain tensioner stuff, cuz their close by, I've had real good sevice at Destination Yamaha in Kerrville which did my 27K valve check. I've also heard good stuff about all the Woods motorbike dealerships. Good luck ( and its too bad luck is a factor these days ) and let us know. There are lots of truly competent wrenches on these pages...I just aint one of 'em ! Take care !

Paul Zabor at Zabor's in Austin - (512) 467-9484. He's a small service-only shop. I've been using him for several years after hearing raves from several friends, and give him the highest recommedation.
