G2 Ergonomics

I found this article written by Chris B. from webBikeWorld.com. He is saying that the G2 Ergonomics supposed to eliminate the cable free play that I'm experiencing on my FJR. It is annoying expectualy from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. Has anyone tried the G2 on their FJR? Or, it is just me not shifting properly?

I installed the G2 on my 07 a month or so ago, and have no more free play than with factory setting. i have seen several threads indicating that there may be adjustment needed, so wait for more info or try search on threads.

The G2 changes the cam for easier control at low throttle in the first 1/8th of a turn or so. Doesn't to squat for cable play. There's an adjuster on one of your throttle cables for that. I have the G2 on my '07 for nearly a year, and it does help alot with the first bit of throttle.
