Heard any new rumors about a Gen III or any changes to the Gen II design coming in 2010? I want to replace my aging FJR '03 (104,000 miles) with a new bike.

No, but I think with this thread will illicit large amounts of speculation....and almost as many of them will be incorrect. ;)

Many thought '09 would be a Gen III, but it wasn't to be. Some think that there were 4 years of Gen 1 and 2010 would be due for the next one...however the astute point out the extra model year in non U.S. markets and it could be 2011 before a change.

Or 2012....

Or 2013....

Plus...it's the economy! And bikerskier's point based on the latest interview with the head of BMW who stated that the Sport Touring market has flattened.

If you want a newer bike, why wait? Only YOU can help the current economic woes, so support your local dealer and buy a new bike! :yahoo:

:yahoo: Well I hear the 2010 bike will have a magnetic keyfob that you just place in your pocket, push a button and it starts! No ignition switch to melt or have multiple keys for. :clapping: ROTFLMAO Maybe it will unlock the bags also.

(Yeah I know, Brad, your such a smartass.)

Either way, I can't say there is anything I'd want changed. I totally LUV my 07.
