While out for a ride in the country today I saw a low slung, shiny black Harley coming the other way. The rider had on the smallest possible Mattel plastic beanie, black tee shirt and Harley boots over his jeans. We had a fairly long line of sight so I attempted to make eye contact with him and initiate some needed hand communications. He remained unmoving, sitting bolt upright and staring straight ahead, not acknowledging me at all. Oh well, I let him ride on past, with his motorcycle emitting concussive flatulence, his left turn signal inanely blinking away and his leather coat dragging on the ground behind him. Have a nice day....

You harley bashers make me wanna puke. But, ain't it fun? :haha:

Passed 3 HD cruisers on the way back from our ride today. We'd seen them ahead of us and had been making progress on catching up to them through the traffic. We fell in behind them because they wicked it up to about 80 when traffic cleared. Eventually they dropped back down to the same speed as the right lane, but didn't move right. When the change came, we (me on the FJR and the other guy on the Daytona 600) changed lanes and passed them "with alacraty"; tossing a friendly wave over my shoulder as we went by.

Later at another traffic light (multiple, small towns). They pulled up behind us at a long light. I turned around to face them from the saddle of my bike and, smiling, waved at them. All 3 looked dead square ahead and pretended no one was in front of them. hat a bunch of :asshat2:s

Maybe they had the latest model of peril-sensitive glasses?

It's the new Harley sunglasses...unless your riding one,(Harley) the glasses tune you & your non Harley ride out B)

All Hardley riders are not bad.

I had the Suzy out 4 days ago for my last ride on her and 2 Hardley riders returned my wave.

Then again, 6 did not. Attitude? But ALL the imported riders did. Some very young.

And while we are on the subject....if one more loud barking Harley goes by my house reving his engine I'm gonna throw a rock at him. That's no brother of mine.

Was it that Spider guy, announcing his presence with authority?

similar experience as I-beam, except mine was better

Harley coming at me like a bat out of hell[sorry Meatloaf]. Apes, loud like a horse farting in a barrel

gave him the slow down wave

shot me the rod

I turned around for the show and and yup, he got nailed in the radar trap that I warned him about.

on the way past I gave him his rod back

Ain't it nice to be on the right side of Karma?

Don't know 'bout NY, but out here on the left coast, a pat on the top of the helmet is the sign to pay attention - the revenue generators are ahead of them, 'keeping the peace'.
