No.. no... The unpaved sections are the best parts!! (well at least for the guy in front that doesn't have to eat dust!! )

Why we pre-ride the routes.



The Bridge Testers, naming names:

For a long time this church was in the middle of the road on moving blocks while they put in a new foundation.



Engine spluttering, major mechanical noises; wild idle speed fluctuations and an exhaust sound reminiscent of a chainsaw in dire need of a tuneup; this chap made quite a grand entrance.



A very interesting British guy that was vacationing here from the Bahamas riding this '62 Harley. Nice horn by the single gauge.



Late in the afternoon we happened onto this fresh crime scene.



This buffoon had just put down his chainsaw and picked up his cell phone to dial 911 and report that his electricity, phone and internet service just suddenly went out.

For openers I start with this example of why this ride wasn't nearly as nice or pretty as our real Bridges ride. It needs the fall colors we have during the Bridges ride.





Sharing the road with the local traffic. This little bridge actually spans some awesome views of the river and steep rock cliffs that are part of a network of flood control dams.

This building is actually a Post Office (for now).



At Diamond Pizza, our lunch stop this huge ambulance was in the parking lot. I wondered if they were picking up or delivering. Everyone else wondered what hospital in the area had a need for an ambulance this big. I think someone mentioned that it could be converted into huge camper.



Hallmark of a Fred W ride. This is representative of any dirt/gravel roads that may be included along the ride.
