Hello,

Well finally sold my old bike and now can farkle the FJR! Looking to buy some warm n safe heated gear! Does anyone know if there is a promo code to get a discount? I currently don't have a added fuse block for accessories and was wondering if there was a extra spot on the bikes factory fuse block? I have only owned the bike for just over a year and still don't know all the ins and outs! One last question! Looking to get some lower running lights from real time industries since he will have them instock soon! From people who have them what is your opinion of the performance? Also are they priced per light or as two? Any info given is greatly appreciated! Thanks to all in advance!

Realtime's lights pricing are per light. They perform very well; I have 1500 lumen models on my forks and they've done very well for over a year now. IMHO, the quality is very good for the price.

As for Warm n Safe; I seem to recall getting an email from them week before last mentioning needing new discount codes due to their new website, but I didn't follow up on it. Depending on what setup you get from Warm n Safe, you could simply direct wire (IIRC, harness includes inline fuse) to the battery. That's what I did with the main lead on my wireless remote Warm n Safe stuff...ran from battery, under tank, and to the point between the rear of the tank and the seat, where I plug in the jacket.

A couple of years ago when I bought my first gear from Warm-n-Safe, I think I received a 20% discount. They had some kind of discount for quite a few professional occupations, and I fit one of them. I may have met the generic occupation of "has job." :) I looked to see if that was still available, but could not find it. However, I did run across this website of a female biker/blogger, and she claims you can get a discount by contacting Rose at Warm-n-Safe and mentioning her blog. Here is the link: GearChic

I ran across this post from her on Advrider.com.

Hi everyone,

I have referral discounts for anyone who mentions my website / blog when ordering any heated liners and / or heated accessories!

Read my blog post below with pricing and all the details about how to get up to 30% off retail! You just need to email my contact ([email protected]) to get ordered. Unfortunately, I don't sell the products directly. I'm just here to hand out the discount

Just create a login/register on the WnS site, pick one of the organizations from the list and you'll see the prices on ALL items discounted by 25%.

Hello,

Thanks all for the info! I could not find a organization to choose from! So I contacted warm n safe and they created a promo!

Its FJRFORUM if anyone is interested in ordering from them! Now I need to get info on the G2 throttle tamer! I got one and went to install and it was a PITA for me! Can someone point me to the install post! I know I saw one but I can't find it now!

Again thanks for all the support! This is a great forum!

Fantastic! I wanted to express appreciation to you for setting this up, and a shout out to Warm & Safe too. I had placed an order a couple weeks ago for two full sets of heated liners, including remote heat-trollers (total bill was in excess of $1000). I emailed them asking if I could get the discount applied "retroactively" and the difference refunded, and they were happy to oblige! I'm now saving a couple hundred dollars and experienced some great customer service...a dying breed it seems!! :yahoo:

Mike changed the internet site a few weeks ago. Most forums and clubs get a discount code, and when I bought mine, I used ADVforum. Anyway, Mike is easy to talk to. Create an account, then call or email and he will set you up with a code right away.

If you use AIM messenger you can add "warmnsafe" to your contacts. He is online a lot, or just leave a message.
