Our AZ FJR Forum Member Eileen-JetGrl sent SkooterG and Papa Chuy a message this afternoon.

Eileen - JetGrl had gone in for a routine examination and she now needs open heart bypass surgery!

Please send Good Thoughts and Best Wishes on to Eileen-JetGrl. She'll be reading your posts!

"Dear Greg and Don, Guess what? I went in for a cardiac angiogram and they kept me. I am stuck here waiting for open heart surgery now. They are not sure whether they are going to do 3 or 4 bypasses. The cath lab study showed all my coronary arteries almost completely blocked. I'll be in surgery by Saturday Morning 8/6. Thanks you guys. I guess I need all the positive mojo I can muster now."

JetGrl, thoughts & prayers to you!

Good thing that the problems were caught now rather than later!

Eileen, sending the all most positive Mojo we have up here in Norcal.

3 or 4 bypasses are much safer than a pass from Don or Greg ;)

Keep us posted on your progress and wishing you a speedy recovery! Perhaps it will be as quick as an FJR at 8K rpm in 5th (I'm sure that's much better than any old Beemer Don just bought   )

Duke & I send good mojo!

Good Luck and best wishes for a speedy recovery. You'll be back on the FJR in no time.

Hi Eileen! So sorry to hear of your predicament but I imagine it might have been much worse had they not caught it now. Medical marvels abound nowadays and with the help of some earth angels, I'll bet you'll be good as new in no time! Listen to the doc/nurses but don't be afraid to stand up for yourself too if need be. Sending much good juju your way, miss!! :)

The shock and horror are past, now. We're all grateful that your problem was found and the medical people can do some "maintenance" and get you back on your feet.

Yes, the process of healing will take some time BUT you're still here. And after a recovery time you'll be back on the bike and enjoying your life again.

Heal well and completely. As Ty said, listen to the docs/nurses, complete the recovery regimen.

You go, girl!

As one who knows this experience first hand, I can say that since you got it early, You will be fine! 5xcabg for me in 2007.

Prayers for a speedy recovery! :good:

Well, it's been four days, if her surgery went off as scheduled.... do we have an update on Eileen?
Hi Dale, Greg Marbach and I spoke about this on Monday afternoon. SkooterG has both her e-mail and her phone number and he left her messages at both locations.

JetGrl-Eileen is also a Member of my BMW Club "AZ Beemers" and I sent her a Private Message at https://www.azbeemers.org Hopefully, we will hear something soon!
