I have an 04, pulled the ECU plug, removed the two little whine pins in 25 and 29, no problem. Stripped a 16 Ga stranded wire back 1 inch on both ends and inserted in 25 and 29, pushed the white lever back. Now I can't get the plug to seat back on the ECU so the clip will engage. All pins in the ECU appear to be straight and in good shape.

Anyone else had this problem? I hate to try to force it to hard. Any help appreciated.

You shouldn't need to force it. There are a lot of pins that need to be aligned all at once. Be certain the wire you installed isn't causing anything to mis-align. Or better yet, just move the wire in question to the other pin location. It can be left there forever, and isn't adding a foreign object to the connector.

You can try to move the connector around in very small circles while giving slight pressure, trying to "lock" all the pins into alignment.

I found a pin that had slipped out of the right side slightly. This was no letting the white bar to be pushed all the way back in. Reset the wire pin, pushed the white bar ALL the way in and it pushed right into place.

Added 7 to each cylinder, no problem. Now I have to wait to try it out........Sending the forks to GP Suspension and ordering a Penske shock.

Greased the steering head bearings, will be changing the brake fluid and lubing all the suspension parts. It ought to be better than new when I get it back together.

Thanks
