We stopped at the Pizza Factory (Debs has pictures of us seated al fresco):

We rode East to Clements and made a stop at Chocoholics (Yes, we DID buy some goodies!):

What a lovely day to get some "ride therapy" and spend time with friends! I came home with my thoughts cleared, my hunger sated (yep, we ate too much pizza) and my heart and mind full.

:yahoo: :yahoo: Thanks, guys, I had a great time! :yahoo: :yahoo:

BTW, on the way home I passed this place and walked back to get this picture. I didn't know that GZ had opened his own business!?!? I can't wait to see one set up for LD riding:

GREAT Day !! Fine ride with fine friends, doesn't get any better. Could not believe how beautiful a day it was - Jan 10th - 62 deg. Exceptional.

Thanks to Mike, Rick ......... and Debs :) for the great company.

Pics following.

We took about 75 pics, Deb taking 70 of those ! She's getting to love this camera. Here's just a few ......

Cold start outside Starbucks, downtown Sacto, sun already bright though.

NOT what Rick really thought ! He assures you. Just laying some fake doubt for the artist.

A heated discussion about Rick's soon to be new paint job ??

The ride back home, top case crammed with chocolate and other decadent surprises.

Days like this are hard to beat.

Wow!

>3 outside the library, get some culture inside us.

I'm really proud of you guys! Thanks for going, and to Deb for the pictures!

>George's mousetrap - a really fine work of art .. bravo George.

Thanks, I merely tired to set a trap for something I wasn't sure what I was trying to catch. Glad you guys got down there to see it!

>NOT what Rick really thought ! He assures you. Just laying some fake doubt for the artist.

Not ALL sculpture grabs ALL us all the same way. One lady at the opening said the wooden part looked like a Cigarette box because she mistakenly read the Victory as Viceroy and thought the bubble was a lung? Wow, I never though of the sculpture that way?

>A heated discussion about Rick's soon to be new paint job ??

Hmmm? What color Rick? Root beer brown with an ice cream topping?

Hey as you guys are enjoying your chocolates with your morning papers, if anybody reads a review of the Show at the Library would you save me a copy please?

cheers,

 ummmm...in that picture of the 3 FJR's...the one all the way to the right, without side bags...where da left muffler be???

That old saying: "build a better mousetrap"

Well it seems that has been done. Bravo!

Wouldn't mind setting one of those out for the neighbor's cat, or dog for that matter.

Or maybe for any unwelcome intruder.

Nice outing: you sophisticated artzy-fartzy guyz and galz.

Geeze, i remember when they built that Library in the late -80's (early 90's?), i was involved with supplying some of the millwork that was used.

Walnut grove?, I sure you you stopped to see my wayward/drunken friends in Locke.

I'd be curious to learn more about George'z art ....{hint}

Thanks for sharing the fun.
