Nice coincidence, I was down in Vegas for fun with Kathy and Grace -and took a day to go up to Death Valle and meet up with Beemerdon and his "zonies" ....it was a great time

The turn out was really well attended --but anyone under age 65 and not on oxygen was seriously outnumbered. FJR platform is sure a bunch of old farts. Kudos to these and the many other old-timers.

Senor RJ, Great seeing you again, as always! Thanks for the excellent photos and livening up Death Valley Daze 2010. Hope to be riding with you again soon, Amigo!

We saw some peeps rolling through Sunday PM around 5 local time on the 14. Thought one was a strom but the other two were definitely FJR's.

Looks like a good time.

Ya, that was funny as hell, -especially how enthusiastic some of those folks were example
If anyone wants to link or take/save any of the images, make note of the number and go here for large/web sized ..or here for larger size. If anyone wants full size for printing, let me know.

Yo !! I nearly missed these pics !Interesting group :) Thanks for sharing RJohn.
Rog, you really should have been there, there were a few folks who could have really used your and Deb's supervision.

This is the owner of the Longstreet, and he surely would have appreciated having someone there to help him supervise.

.....and then there was the pack of gals that fairlaner and Johnnyt80 were stalking:

RJ, you're a freak of nature. Seriously. I was watching you sitting solo at the bar, cocking your head to the left, taking a long drag on the ciggie, lost in thought. 15 seconds you held the pose then snapped to, grabbed the camera, and took the foto of the singing queen. I saw the whole thing. I often wonder where you are in those moments.

BTW - do you know this gent's story? He looks like someone with a rich life experience. His eyes, sad, the spirt fierce. WWII vet?

Your fotos, RJ, they are good.

Whatever happens at Death Valley Daze, stays at Death Valley Daze; Verdad!!!
Uhh, no need for this or anything else to stay in DV ....

This is the girlfriend of the bartender and local barfly. It is always good fun to get to know the locals and this girl as lived in Amargosa Valley all of her life ...we traded some good and silly stories

No foul by MadMike.

I was trying to figure out why small town places attract the oddest of sites and people. -and why such fun can't be had anywhere else.
As far as the 'gent', I have no idea who he is and I didn't take the picture. I left the camera for a while, ....Uhhh, and it made the rounds taking pictures of various folks --LOL LOL good fun. I thinky Johhny17, Skooter, George Michael might be the ones(?) ,,,,,and yes, each pic tells a story, and since we don't know the true story fun to make up whatever one you feel appropriate.
