Out of storage / out of the closet. Who has the gheyest FJR?

I've been ridiculed by pretty much everyone I know for keeping my FJR as clean as I do. On this forum, my feej has publicly been called the 'gheyest 03 roaming North America' Thanks a lot Bungie

Well so be it. It took a beast like the FJR to bring out those "tendencies" in me and yes, I'm OK with that.

In my defense, it's not a Harley and I spend FAR more time riding the hell out of her than I do cleaning her.

My '03, just out of winter hibernation, this past Sunday.

And the remaining pics were all from last season (I only bought it last June) But I did ride it 15000+ kms in my first season.

All wet & dirty after a rainstorm. Even dirty, 03 liquid silver looks pretty damned ghey

You guys have no idea how ghey that bike really is. I saw it up close and tried to do an AH-HA! you missed a spot. No dice! Back of the reflector directly behind the back wheel? Spotless. The front side of the rubber cover over the shock... I think he waxed it. GHEY GHEY GHEY. Well I guess it could be worse, I mean, he could be crocheting himself a pair of jean shorts with the time he must spend cleaning and detailing.

I thought for sure he was gonna bust out some home made spinich dip in a hollowed out sour dough bread loaf that first night camping. Turns out he's a decent guy and likes women and everything. He's just a little ana... er.. obsessive compulsive about keep he penis extension clean.

As for riding in the rain, I rode through the same storm you did and my bike wasn't dirty after either.. mostly because it was like riding through a damn car wash cranked to 11.

Without a doubt, Big D has the gheyest 08 FJR! It is showroom pristine EVEN after riding through mud and crap! :****:

I cannot knock anyone who takes such pride in their ride though. I sure as hell don't!

Damn. Mine didnt look that clean when it was new!

I gave up even attempting to wash mine 2 yrs ago when she became my daily driver. Just not worth it anymore.

I got a co-worker who rides his new ST1300 to work almost every day, rain or shine but I swear the next day it looks like it just came out of the showroom. He must spend an hour every day cleaning that thing. He'll learn eventually.

I don't have ghey, but I have bikal nudity. When I had those starter issues last summer, I rode it around like this to make the electrics easier to access for testing.

Spinach dip my ass. We set up camp and what's the FIRST order of business for me? I ride all the way back into town to do a beer run of course. And please note that I had to go finish the beer with our neighbors since mademoiselle bungie passes-out at like 9:30. Dirty bike and early-crasher. You're an unmotivated ghey-lord Steve... Wow, that's pretty damned ghey. Well-over twice the mileage I have on mine and you've got polished bits & pieces that I thought I was ghey for giving a cursory wipe-down. Only one real challenger and I've already been knocked off top spot. I'm still on the podium tho.

S76 also gets bonus points. The time and date stamp on those pics prove he actually went out late at night to snap pics of his gheyness and upload them to photobucket.

HAHA! True. Frankly I was quite surprised that you didn't sleep under the picnic table and use your tent as portable garage for your ghey bike.

Shit, we need to do that again. I'll even share my coffee and instant oatmeal again when your hungover as hell the next morning. I'm hoping you've learned to make a better 'cup' out of a beer can than that last one.

The real ghey ones were Mike 'n Doug. They're the ones who spent the night in a hotel.

One of my MSF students last week asked if I ever take my FJR out of town as it was so clean. My answer was, sure thing, but I'm also very anal about cleaning it. I considered submitting a pic of my 05', but after seeing these from S76, fuggaduboutit![SIZE=8pt] (he's got to be either a pilot or rotorhead wrench)[/SIZE]

My FJR has some swish but my commuter Concours is a man bike, I didn't even clean the dirt off the mufflers when I had them off changing the rear tire last week.

The feej just looks so sexy when clean, vajazzeled & all. :blush2:
