BustaNut Joker (Barry Clark) is offering a Commemorative Plaque carved in wood to anyone that is interested in having a nice FJR carving to hang on their wall along with other FJR memorabilia.

Barry will be offering it in just about any type wood species you may want. The picture attached to this website was done in a curly maple. Many types of wood can be used, such as Cherry, Oak, Maple and even more exotic types are possible also.

The price for this plaque will be announced by Barry and of course shipping will be added to the price. You will need to contact Barry (Bustanut Joker) through the forum to get a price and availability of any exotic wood types. Barry has informed us that anyone interested in purchasing a plaque will be able to pay for it using PayPal.

I have attached a couple photos, with one being a very close-up detailed pic where you can see the detail in the plaque much better. Remember, this display was done in Curly Maple.

BustaNut did want to mention that all of the wood carvings featuring Johnny80's holding the plaque in the nude have sold out! However, Sheep are always a possibility!

Yep, BustaNut gave me a call 2 minutes ago and told me FJRBluesman was the lucky guy who got the wood carving of Johnny80s holding the plaque nude; it figures!

Musta been a big f*cking piece of wood!

No I don't mean Johnny80-s wood -- I don't want to know about that.
Shiny, for Bust to properly render an engraving of Johnny80s Italian cotto salami for Bluesy, he had to do his artwork on a 2' x 4' piece of mahogany veneer plywood!

Bump to the top per request's..

Gonna be $ 20.00 plus shipping as Lumber has for some reason, decided to increase in price..

Also, I can do Oak but it really dosen't like to be engraved as the grain really is too porous and looks rather muddy :( .. I'll see about running something an posting up tomorrow.. Dark woods like walnut tend to lose the image as the engraving cut's and darkens the wood.. Cherry is about the darkest I'd suggest..

So, what type of wood do you suggest and what about the speed limit modification?

I'm sure some will request knot holes and those will be an extra cost, depending on the diameter.

I was just pecking out a PM to ya man.. Then this POS did what it does and flaked out on me

I'm going to buy something that actually works someday..

Maple, Cherry, Hickory, Poplar, pretty much any lighter toned hardwoods. I'm going to give the speed limit a go at some point tonight..Just a matter of "covering" it and changing the numbers.

Yeah I ain't sayin' easy or I'll jinx myself and spend an inordinate amount of time editing..

I'll pm ya when I get an answer pegger..

Ya did a WFO9 plaque barbi -- but I never got a good look. You gonna start a thread offering WFO plaques as souveniers for manly men like Fairlaner, Ignacio, erm... I give up. Maybe somebody would want one?

all plaques for this years FO's are available. Didn't do plaques for WFO or CFR.. Just picture frames..

Funny I've never sold a single plaque after any of these venues.. ****! I take that back.. I forgot I need to get a CFR frame out..

Thanks for the reminder Shiny!
