From page 24, that was the title of the 3 paragraph article. If you look past the artist's rendering, here's the gist of the new revelation that was worth reading:
...information from Europe indicates that an upgrade may be coming this year. That's all folks. Everything else was an attempt to speculate some icing on the cake made from those few words. Though they use buzz words like R1 technology, 1400cc's, cross plane and traction control... if ya read the article carefully, it says that these technologies SEEM tailor-made for a new upgraded FJR. Most of what is said just serves to embellish the original "information from Europe suggests" phrase above. In other words, information from somewhere in Europe said... UGGHH. I wished they'd shed a little more light on WHAT information, and from exactly whom. Oh well.
I don't want to let wishful thinking flood my words here, nor to I want to ignore what I just read, but it is noteworthy that a major rag has committed to making a prediction. Before you start screaming that we've heard this before, let's remember that there are a few factors that have changed lately. For the first time in many years, the economy is looking better. That matters. Yam's no doubt been watching the competition heat up at big K across the street and big Big B across the continent. And last (and probably least), it's been mucho years since the last upgrade. The big question: are these factors enough to tip the scales causing Mamma to give us a new Yamma?
Just some food for thought.
