2013 FJR

Well the FJR might finally be getting a redo. Motorcyclist Mag has a small write-up suggesting it will be redone for 2013 with another 100cc and an upgraded engine using Yamaha's crossplane technology along with new bodywork ,suspension and other niceties.

You're about the 34th person here to report on the completely unsubstantiated rumor. I'm counting the exact same speculative reports from 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 model years.

Maybe it's more than 34, actually.

I agree with WFOOSHEE! Believe it when Yamaha Says the same thing and the bikes are in the showroom.

Every year the same story - then they release the same bike in (maybe) a different color. Until they show up at dealers I'm an unbeliever.

Yea, saw that in Motorcyclist. They describe the current AE as an imperfect semi-automatic trans that shifts into neutral whenever revs drop below 2000 rpm. :dribble:

Based on the lack of understanding of the current model, I'm not putting a whole lot of stock in their prognosticating ability. <_<

This is just like the rumor that Beemerdons is having a sordid love affair with Radio Howie. Except this rumor is not true and is way less disturbing.

Aw Hell...even if it is true, at least it wont give you nightmares. Honestly...whatever you do, DO NOT think of a naked Howie and Beemerdons spooning while listening to Barry White.

See? You just can't shake that image. Told you not to think of it.
