Since No-one is man-ing or woman-ing up.

Here is a test thread

Who would be interested in EOM in Bama?

The roads are just as good if not better than SFO. But not as technical (most) as the EOMs of the Mountain Regions. A lot of the roads here are sweepers with the occasional tecky stuff.

I have been working on some routes, but have not completed or riden most of them. I am relying on word of mouth to give me some good roads. If you come, I'll get the routes done, if you wanna go someplace else, thats fine too.

EOM or not, I'll come down there and ride wit' ya! Bring it on!

And before this gets out of hand since I got one PM already

You picken on fjrchik for a reason?...or just playing @ being a ****? ("better roads then sfo" implies screw the spring deal & come here in the fall....cause it sure sounds thast way,....Mich is a good egg)
Not in the least. not even thought of that way.

Just offering an idea of what to expect here from those who have ridden SFO.

Besides, It would be real easy for me to NOT do anything and go some other place where the headache has was worn by someone else for 9 months. Gee, every time I re-read the PM I get the headache already and the urge to say let someone else give it a go.

Jeese, touchy touchy :p

I'm up for pretty much any place. Thanks for stepping up.

And I didn't think you were saying anything negative about SFO, just trying to give us an idea of what kind of riding to expect.

How about South Eastern Owners Meet, SEOM. Hell, you can't have too many meets, right?

If you hurry, we can even beat that new North American meet to the calendar. :)

EOM, in Alabama sounds good to me, plan away Fencer, let the naysayers go somewhere else.

Like so many others, I don't care where I ride as long as the roads and weather are good.

Sounds great to me, and not too far from home (Calhoun, GA). I lived in Alex City for 7 years. Just keep it off the dirt roads. :yahoo:

Yo Fence! What about doing something with a base camp near Chattanooga, TN? Then you could ride NE Alabama, North Georgia, Eastern TN, and Western NC.

I would throw my hat in the ring to co-plan or chair whatever you want to call it. As long as I don't come home from Alabama with another dog in my tank bag!! :glare:

Just a thought...

JW

I second the Chattanooga base! :clapping:

I grew up in Chattanooga.

There are some GREAT roads around there.

Not far from Suches, Cherohala, Tail of the Dragon, etc.

That's fine w/ me. I'd love to visit Barber. I pass through B'ham any time I go home to Hattiesburg (MS) to visit-GSE-

I'll go anywhere you set it up Fencer but please keep in mind that there are quite a few guys that attend from RI/MA/CT and you are bumping up against 1000-1200 miles via slab one way.

I'm really impressed by your offer, and I might be able to make it. Cota was right, though, and I'm only on the Maryland/PA border, in that it's on the edge of the distance I'd have time for, since I'd need to plan an extra day.

Bob

Also impressed, you guys are alright!

Will be watching these threads closely,

Heidi
