My first Forum ride was the 2007 New Year's Day Ride organized by MadMikeII, a.k.a. Old Fat ******* . That's when I got to meet Mad and Ric and Rich and Rog and Uber and RsvlFeej and others for the first time--and learned what pricks they all are BTW :glare: ).
But I'm willing to ride with them again anyway, for Auld Lang Syne. And of course the word in hospital emergency rooms, ambulance cabs, and EMT circles is that Mad is back on the horse that threw him (so they are all poised to act quickly). Maybe he'll be mended enough by then to lead us, or at least lead us to a rendezvous point.
So I throw out the question as to whether we ought to organize, weather permitting, a second annual (at least for me) Northern California ride on New Year's Day 2008.
This link will help us all remember what a grand time we all had not so long ago....
