If you haven’t heard, I hit a deer with my ‘18 FJR. The bike is currently in a family members shed up in Iowa. Later this month I will be going up there to strip some farkles and parts that I want to keep. The front end is trashed. The rest of the bike is fine. (I was able to slow the bike to a stop before a tip over in the ditch. I had the bags from my ‘09 on the bike, so the ‘18’s bags are mint. (I have only had them on when I brought the bike home from the dealership.

Let me know if there are any parts you want prior to my trip up to Iowa. I’m taking tools, lift and pickup, so anything is possible.

I have decided to buy a new FJR over fixing this one. (Front parts are $$$)

I have made a vow to start cleaning out my gear and parts. Somehow, somewhere at sometime, I became a hoarder. My garage is disgusting. I have parts from my ‘05, ‘08, a non running’09, a nonrunning BMW Dakar and now another ‘18. I rarely made a profit off the parts (Sometimes losing money delivering them) BUT, I never wanted to throw away anything that someone, somewhere at sometime would need. I’m going to post parts up for sale and if no sale in 10 days, I’m tossing them.

2018 Looks like a different part number than my 2015 even though they’re both A models. Anyone know what changed?

Looks like from fiche and googling that the 2016+ moved to KYB production instead of Yamama internal.

Only difference I can see is an ear sticks out further on the KYB forks. I need to find someone with close fork pictures of a 16+ to compare if it’s a small modification needed if at all.
