    Haandle Bar/ Throttle Meister

I also had to get a real bolt from the hardware store plus soaking the sleeve in WD40 overnight. Was a PITA but it did finally work. Paitence is the key. :agent:

Is This The FJR Cap That Yamaha's Sending?

I rec. my hat a couple of days ago. Letter included with the hat implies that Yamaha is sending it out in conjuction with their 50th Ann. I assume I rec. it because I bought a 05 FJR. Nice hat. :agent:

    Cee Bailey 4+4

I have the +4+3 and have only mild buffeting on the top of my helmet when the screen is full up. Full down the wind hits at the high chest level. Weather protection is great. Plenty of wind for the hot summer rides but when it rains it really protects well. Cold weather riding is a snap...

    FJR Caps

Received my hat yesterday along with a letter from Yamaha saying thanks for the purchase. The hat is in conjuction with their 50th anniversary. Nice hat. :agent:

    Riding Has Changed.....

I can relate. I'm in my late 40s and I don't have the desire to haul ass and get crazy like I used to. I am much more relaxed about my riding and don't seem to mind going at bit more relaxed pace. Still faster than my HD riding buddies but my younger friends on crotch rockets still like to go...

    Question About Oil.

I went to synthectic at the 4000 mi oil change and just did the 8000. No problems for me. :agent:

    Rode An ST1300 Today!!!

I am 6'2' with 35" inseam. No problems at all with leg room. This was one of the major characteristics that drew me to this bike. I tried several BMWs and Japanese bikes but just didn't fit well. Knees always hit the fairing. This bike has plenty of room. I love my FJR. Just got back...

    Bay Window

I really like my Cee Bailey +4+3. It has made a huge difference in the turbulence hitting my helmet. Great weather protection. Makes a big difference in the summer rains and the cold weather riding is much more tolerable. I still get the wind blast to cool me down when it is full down...

Thanks for the info Radman. I too saw the blurb in Cycle World and was planning on checking out this wax. I'll be getting some sooner now. :agent:

    My Ass Hurts!

Another option you might try is a sheepskin butt pad from alaska leather. I have one and it made a big difference to the stock seat. Only $49 for the pilots seat. Something to check out and a lot less expensive than a seat upgrade. I was ready to try the new seat route but the pad changed my...

    Octane

I use basic 87 octane. Here in CO that's the Regular plus. No problems what so ever. No need to spend any extra money for the higher octanes unless you're pinging.

    Cee Baileys Or Rifle...

I have a CB +4+3 standard style. It was a big improvement over the stock windshield. At full up I only get a hint of buffetting on the top of my helmet. Really helps in the summer rains and flat out rocks in the cold weather. I'm 6'2" BTW. Highly recomment CB.
