    PR2 Install Lament

Thanks Zilla. There is not a CycleGear within 200 miles.

    PR2 Install Lament

The independent shop that told me they could not mount low profile tires is a listed installer on MC Superstore's site. :angry2:

    PR2 Install Lament

Dude. Be an ass if you like. Maybe when you have 3 blown discs, arthritis, and bone spurs, you might get a clue. FWIW, doc's orders are to lift no more than 40#. Hell, just reaching down to pick something off the floor can be an adventure. I'm trying to put off fusion for a few more years. A...

    PR2 Install Lament

Thanks for all the advice and the offer of assistance! Yes, I have taken the wheels off before so that's not a problem. I've changed my own bike tires back in the '60s, '70s, and '80s so I'm no virgin, but (and some of you know this) I have a fubared back and changing my own tires now is a risk...

    PR2 Install Lament

I've been running PR2s for several years and like them. I have a new pair ready to be installed. The old dirt floor independent shop that has previously done my installs for $10-$20 per tire has a new policy- they will only install tires bought from them (and they will bill full MSRP+). So, I...

    SFO 2012 -> CLOSED THREAD

I'm easy to please. Any date works for me. I'd opt for early May though. Russelville, Jasper, Harrison, or Eureka Springs is fine. I'd lean toward 1)ES 2)Jasper 3)R'ville or Harrison. Last year's motel in R'ville was fine. I prefer low cost lodging. The previous motel in ES (Best Western?) is...

The beer's good and watching the frauleins carry 6 at a time is entertaining. Don't miss out on the big pretzels.

Yeah, I heard that a few slow old farts took that scenic route. They were putting along so slowly that they almost got cited for impeding traffic. :D

    Which Bike Would YOU Choose?

That adage is for pussies. Pulling & pushing G's and doing inverted flat spins is my type of flying. :yahoo: Wish I could join ya'll in the Alps. You're going to have a great time!

    Which Bike Would YOU Choose?

Personally, I'd opt for the Triumph because I like its power delivery and sportiness. I toured the Alps, including the Dolomites, several times in the '90s. The most popular rental then was the K75. I was late in reserving a rental one year and there were no K75s available. I rented a K100LT...

    Side Case split apart?

So, this is not normal? Is my cover going to fly away? Don't want to try to remove the cover. Try to get some adhesive in there from the top?

    Side Case split apart?

First I've read about this. One of my case covers is separating at the top. It can be pulled away from the case about 1/2 inch. So, it's not an isolated issue.
