Brand new 2008 idle problem + oil

Just got my 08 two weeks (and 850 miles) ago... I found out that the handlebars were in the #1 position (furthest forward). I moved them back to the #3 position (closest to the tank) - and the ride is a LOT more comfortable, and most of the "dead hand" and vibrations stopped. Besides the...- Back In The Saddle

How Hot Is Hot?
Hi All, I just picked up my 08A yesterday (yeah!) - and I just wanted to know how "hot" is "hot." It's been high 70s here (75-80) - and the indicator is showing 4-5 bars (about 1/2 way on the guage). Is that OK - or not? I'm seeing other posts from people who show 2-3 bars all the time - but...- Back In The Saddle
