what did you use to remove the oil filter? My flat motorcycle oil filter wrench did not fit the FJR because the handle did not clear the side. What size is the drain plug?

I just went out to adjust it by removing the bolt that holds the rotating lever to the splines then reposition the gear shift lever. However, it can only be moved so much before the gear shift lever hits the frame when upshift. It did help a little. I was able to move a few splines...

Thanks Don, good to know about the 357 rack. My givi top case never came off my Blackbird except when washing it :-) Does it have the givi power connector on the rack so that a top case with brake light can be connected? I assume you can still use the 2 factory Yamaha side cases with the 357...

Hi all, I went to the Yamaha Demo Truck day last Fri to test drive the FJR-1300. However, only the FJR1300-A was available for my time slot. This was the 1st time I rode a FJR. My current bike is a Honda 1100XX aka Blackbird. Last time I dyno'ed it (several years ago) it made 135 hp / 80 lb.ft...
