James, re the impact of the PC III on the engine idling. Lots of things can impact idle performance however I did have the exact same thing happen to my '05 about a year ago. I installed a PC III shortly after buying the bike new in '05 and it worked great until last year. Long story short...

Just got back from a ride out to the Smoky Mtns.of Tenn. and the Carolinas. Rode the 'Tail of the Dragon' (Hy 129) and all around that area. great fun! Leaving Aug. 31 for Montana and Wyoming and Colorado. If the weather is good it should be a blast!

On his throttle body sync video he mentions that he is adjusting the throttle plate positions. On my Gen ! bike, the normal throttle body sync done at idle you adjust the bleed air screws. Is that Gen 3 different or was he actually adjusting the bleed air screws on each throttle body?

Fred, I have been running HID's in my headlamp buckets for 7 years now and YES, that upper part of the reflector is severely 'burned' or damaged. I'm assuming from the heat of the bulbs.

Only got one seat (a smuggler is behind) so unless it's a naked nympho hitchhiking on the road, it's 100% solo!

I tend to use fine emery cloth and it seems to last longer then regular sand paper.

Do you have a Power Commandur installed? If so I'd say it might have gone FUBAR!
