    Front Fork Clunk

I had a similar 'problem' and it turned out to be a fractured fork spring. It's a fairly simple procedure to check if you have a broken spring by removing each of the fork caps and then removing each spring to inspect it's length. However, mine was also identifiable by checking the front ride...

    Pilot Road 2 - who's got 'em?

Check your steering head bearings. I've been well over that speed on my PR'2s and the bike was rock solid.

    Pilot Road 2 - who's got 'em?

Gpt them from HPcycles off EBay. $295.95/set. Haven't noticed any road noise but I wear ear plugs all the time.

    Pilot Road 2 - who's got 'em?

Just turned 3500 miles on my PR2's and they are by far the very best tire I've had on the FJR.

    Woodstock, GA, Traxxion Dynamics

This note is to show my appreciation and special thanks to the folks at Traxxion Dynamics. Two days ago I discovered that one of my front fork springs had fractured. This spring was part of the Traxxion Dynamics AK-20 cartridge kit that I purchased and installed last year on my 2005 FJR...

    FJRF006.0: Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

Jim, per the on-line parts manual, the '02-'05 FJR's used TPS P/N 5ps-85885-00-00. This was superceeded by P/N 5ps-85885-01-00 which is also the same P/N listed for the '06's. Does your latest info mean there is now a third P/N (configuration?) TPS? Does this also infer that the '06 bikes...

    PHID issues

I just removed one of the igniters and rotated it 90 degrees. No need to file or cut any thing on the PHIDS I have. It took me 2 seconds to accomplish. :)
