Seems to me that Yamaha increased production for '06. More new bikes eventually becomes more used bikes. From reading this board and others, what I don't think it is, is a mechanical issue. My 2 cents...

Run. Wether or not his apocryphal tale is fact or otherwise, I would doubt that the damage he claims is present. The cause......maybe 'nother story.

No. Way. I'm not looking at my bike at the moment, but wouldn't yer bar ends scrape 'bout the same time as the bags? I mean, smells like merde waaay before that consideration. Just sayin.

Has anyone ever seen for sale an undertail for the 06 FJR? Aesthetically speaking, the low plate mount and 'mudflap' are the only things I'd like to change on my bike, but the project would look a lot more 'finished' if I could find an undertail. Any help would be appreciated! :rolleyes:

Thanks for the tip! B) The only gripe I have w/my '06 was my numb right thumb and forefinger. Between this and the throttlemeisters I'm good to go. (well except maybe the stock seat).
