    Cheyenne to Salt Lake

You can't go wrong with any of these routes zip. There are still 40' drifts over top of the Snowies on WY130 right now so the scenery will be way cool. They just got it open last week for the season. Probably the same over WY70. I'm in Cheyenne if you need anything before you head out. I'll...

    Average age of FJR owners

OK, I'll play too. 53 at this point in time. Bought the FJR when I was 48. Started riding when I was 11 on a Honda 50. There have been 5 other Yamaha's under the butt since '77'. And another thing...I still can't figure out why the FJR wants to go 80 mph every time I get on it!

    Whats it worth?

OK, I'll be a smart alec too. You're a moron for selling it. Geez, you live in Texas for crying out loud! Can't you ride it year round? I don't have that luxury in Wyoming. But I think starting around $6500.00 is a good number if you really have too.

2009 Iron Butt Rally - Official Daily Reports

Thanks for the updates Warchild! This is pretty cool. I can only imagine the heeby-jeeby's these riders get setting out on this ride. :dribble: It was bad enough at NAFO. Best wishes and safe travels to Iggy, Greg, TurboDave and all the other Feejer riders participating, and the rest as well!

    Schuberth Concept Helmet

Catfish, You install the shield without the clips installed? Duh, I hadn't tried that. Does the shield rattle around at all? I'll try it that way.

    butt pad or seat

I think I'm one of the few who doesn't mind the stock seat. I did an SS1k in Colorado last year at NAFO with my riding pants and a pair of bike shorts that have the simulated sheepskin in the crotchal area. They work fine for me. Don't get me wrong though, I'd love to have a Russell. And the...

    Schuberth Concept Helmet

Hi Folks, My wife has a Schuberth Concept we picked up for her a few years ago. There are small red retainer clips on each side at the pivot point of the visor attachment for removing the visor. One of these has broken and I can't seem to find replacements anywhere. I e-mailed Schuberth, but...

    All Good Things...

Frenchy, Man do you have a way with words!! Great story! I was just up over Cameron Pass and through Poudre Canyon on Saturday with a few other Feejers and a stray Honda. Always a great ride. Even though Mother Nature tried to blow us off the highway from Cheyenne all the way to Walden...
