So my passenger loves the FJR, but...

Glad I saw this, my wife rarely rides with me, she rides her own, but she is 5'8" and if you guys are saying it's cramped for 5'2" type heights, she is gonna be in trouble with her long inseam.

    First Trip to PNW

Glad you enjoyed your stay and found a new place to ride when you get the chance. I love living in the PNW, I think we have some of the best roads in the country, give yourself a month to cover all the good riding here, then come back again a 2nd time!

    FJR now has little brother

I would love to get my wife onto something like that! I have tried for years but she is stuck on her Harley Dyna, which is a good looking bike, but shakes the crap out of her 130 lbs at every stop. Maybe someday she will figure it out.

    I Need to Slow Down

This is one of the only two complaints I have about my new FJR. On my previous bike, a Victory Kingpin with some fairly loud pipes, I had a really good idea of my speed just from the sound and feel of it. This thing is so quiet, by comparison, that I have to look down at the speedo frequently...

Didn't think I was going to ever get to ride my new bike!

Typically any form of red has been my least favorite color, oddly enough, my last 6 wheeled purchases are, or have, red on them. Truck, car, suv, vintage Schwinn bike, Cervelo tri bike and my FJR. Weird. As to fly fishing, I believe there is quite a bit in the area, we have a ton of rivers...

Didn't think I was going to ever get to ride my new bike!

If I had any vacation to use! My 20th anniversary this year, and one of my sons is graduating from high school, vacation is used up. '07, 10,808 miles, $8500 incl a 3 year warranty, only farkle is a set of black Throttlemeister bar ends. Didn't read the darkside thread yet, but I am going to...

Didn't think I was going to ever get to ride my new bike!

It's not that I wont ride in the rain, I just prefer not to start out in it if I don't have too. On top of that, the roads here blow, ruts pretty much on every road, lots of potholes as well, which when filled with water become invisible. I have rain gear, it's a little heavy for the current...

Didn't think I was going to ever get to ride my new bike!

Bought it on Tuesday and it's been raining, windy and miserable ever since. Finally late yesterday there was a break in the weather and I got to put on about 50 miles. All I can say is, what a great bike, I don't think I could have made a better choice in getting back to riding a sport touring...
