I finally just built a RAM mount and attached it with the two bolts that hold the front of the fuel tank on. This works great. BTW: I took off the steering stem nut and the stem underneath IS NOT HOLLOW on the 2005 FJR. Thus I id not go with my idea of putting the ball there. Cheers. Marc
