SOLD - Top Saddlery seat for sale (Sellerie)

Redfish: I was never saying, or trying to imply, that YOU got a bad deal. I am talking about the SELLER ON EBAY. I never said anything about anyone here, or about this sale being good, bad, or otherwise. No clue why this is so hard to understand. All I was trying to do is show my fellow forum...

SOLD - Top Saddlery seat for sale (Sellerie)

Seat has already been sold, ace. How is that shitting on anything? I was informing others who responded wishing they could still buy this seat and letting them know that they can. The ebay seller is overcharging, since you can buy the same seat, with customization, for less. If you disagree...

SOLD - Top Saddlery seat for sale (Sellerie)

[This is] not the only one, guys. It looks like you can order one from the manufacturer for about $250 (if you provide the base) For an additional deposit they will loan you a seat base, or you can buy a full seat from them (still only $410 shipped to US). They also let you customize height...

    Year around riding gear.

I run the Olympia X-moto jacket and Scorpion Deuce pants. I am taller, but thinner, with long arms and the XXL fits pretty well. I have to take in all the straps to the max, but if I were 250 lbs it might be a perfect fit. Anyway, the jacket has big chest, arm, and back openings that reveal...

Need good deal on Schuberth helmet

Nice! I wish I'd have ordered a tinted visor with mine, but that should be here any day. Sorry, but I don't know anything about DOT. I have heard that some states will look for a DOT sticker on your lid, but I have never found a cop that cares. Maybe California.

Original Grip Buddies install and brief review

Thanks anyway Dave, but I'll take care of it myself.

Original Grip Buddies install and brief review

Dude, I was chill yesterday and I am chill today. Still stand by what I wrote. Past and future customers will read this thread and may have the same issues. Why not resolve it right here? In print? Not sure why anyone wouldn't want that. I didn't call Dave to give a review, I wrote it here, like...

Original Grip Buddies install and brief review

What does that mean? Give me a call to discuss? If you have a solution, or if you are offering replacements, or whatever, why not just say it here? We are giving you a thread to help sell your product and give you good reviews. We all deserve to know what you will do in this situation. So...

Next best seat to Russell seat

Fred gets double points for giving really good weight shifting advice AND being the only person I have ever heard say they think a russell looks good. :P Kissing the mirror is where it's at. My wife and I were just watching rnicky mouse Mullholland vids on Youtube yesterday. Dude sits in the...

    2013 Triumph Trophy SE

Man, I'll take some more power for my FJR. I think 200 hp would be just about right, given the weight of the beast. Naturally aspirated, of course. :yahoo: I got all excited to see the new Trophy. Love Triumphs. Not this one. Looks like a Honda to me. It would have to be really fun to...

Next best seat to Russell seat

My ass has never hurt bad enough to want one of those nasty looking Russell's on my bike. Your ass's mileage may vary. I enjoy function over form, but you have to draw the line somewhere. I wouldn't put Caddy seats in a Vette, either.

Need good deal on Schuberth helmet

FC-Moto shows that helmet shipped to US for $525 as of this morning (changes slightly with the exchange rate). If you just look on their website, it shows the price being higher. You have to log in, put it in your basket, then look at the basket. Since you are not UK, VAT charges will be removed...

Original Grip Buddies install and brief review

I have a couple rides now with the grip buds. I don't notice the seam at all, and my large hands really like them. Major improvement in comfort. Thanks Dave!!

    Glove Stretching Technique

Fire up the tea kettle and get some steam rolling. Steam and stretch the area. Repeat until satisfied.

2nd day of ownership & dropped my FJR

Sorry to hear, man. We worked on my nephew's zx9 a couple months ago. Oil, brake pads and new fluid. Everything went smooth as silk, which is odd for us. Came in to wash my hands, go back out to the garage and the Ninja is on it's side and my nephew is white as a sheet. He went to lower it off...

    Waving at other motorcyclists

I wave at everyone. Harleys, sportbikes, mopeds, and even cops. The moto cops almost always wave back. I get waves from the 1%ers. In fact, the only people who don't wave are the "wild hogs", but I give them the benefit of the doubt that they just don't know any better. Does it get old? Yeah...

    FJR lean angle

It's just a little grinding noise. Being able to use ALL of your available lean angle is like being able to use ALL of your brakes. You don't want the first time you do it to be out of necessity. People practice the braking. The leaning, not so much. One of the most common single bike wrecks in...

    FJR lean angle

This question was simply asked on the wrong forum. I'm an ex-sportbike rider and have belonged to a local sportbike forum for years. Had you asked the exact same thing on there, the responses would have been far different. I think a 990 Superduke would rock your world. All the benefits of a...
