    For sale - 2009 FJR - $3000

Selling my FJR. This bike has been great to me. I bought it w/around 25k miles and have since ridden it all over the place. It currently has 103,000, which may go up as I'm still riding it. It doesn't need anything but a rider. If you know FJRs, you know that this bike can go to 300k w/no...

Powerlet out of business, Warm and safe?

I just bought new gloves and a new controller from them. Used their Contact Us page on their site. Was able to get 40% off due to replacing my old gloves. The email address I used to reach Mike was [email protected]. CM

    Mirror light mounts (gen 2)

Who's making a good one these days? Seems like there used to be several options, but I'm not having much luck finding one. I'll probably use a light similar to this, if that's relevant - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EAEM608/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1TXQJ5K683DPA Thanks, CM

    Battery charging voltage

Hey all, I've got an 09 w/about 95k miles on it. I added a voltmeter not long ago and it's readings are a little concerning. W/the only additional load being some LED spots I use as running lights, it shows around 13.1 volts, when I add my electric gear (jacket liner, gloves, socks) at highway...

Gen 2 Corbin seat (front and rear) - $200

I've upgraded my seat and need to offload this seat. It's in good shape except for some scuffs on the driver's seat. Shoot me an email and I can send pics. chris.mcloud1 at gmail.com

    Inexpensive led driving lights ?

I'm getting ready to mount these - On that note, what are the recommendations for light mounts for being seen? CM

    Battery charging voltage

I checked the straight from the battery w/the multimeter. Does this mean I may need just the $50 patch kit or something additional? CM

    Battery charging voltage

Just checked it w/a multimeter and the volt meter on the bike is pretty accurate, w/in .1 of the multimeter. At about 5k RPM I was able to get it up to 13.5 volts (on both) but that's about as high as I could get w/out wringing the motor out (which didn't seem like a good plan sitting in the...

    Battery charging voltage

And of course, after posting this, I come across this - With a good charging system, and a healthy, properly charged battery I would offer these guidelines for sustained voltages: ≤12.8 volts at the battery terminals – the charging system is over taxed, the battery is being discharged, and the...

    Battery charging voltage

I suspect I could find this w/search, but I didn't have any luck so here it goes...I recently added a USB outlet to my handlebars and, since it was only a couple bucks more, got one w/a volt meter. It's been on the bike for a few weeks now and I'm concerned about the battery now. It starts and...

    2006 Harley V Rod $7000

My dad recently passed away and I've no interest in a V Rod (if my wife would even let me have a second bike), so we're putting it up for sale. It's an 06 V Rod w/about 10k miles. It'll come with the luggage in the picture. Has a windshield and is wired for a 12v outlet. Since it's a Harley...

    No Headlights

Unfortunately, I need the fast fix because I have to ride to Austin (from San Antonio) tomorrow for work. I'd take my truck, but it's a 75 Bronco that gets a hot 8mpg and is...questionable...for long drives...

I'll just run a jumper... And to everyone that said "test the headlights", both were burned out. Although, that clearly wasn't the whole problem.

It's a 6 pin connector - https://goo.gl/photos/uGi4bb4RGEG1Qt8n6 - The brown on the connector in the photo is where the headlight wire goes...I imagine that means something, but I don't know what...Can I just run a jumper over the connector and "bypass" it? CM

    No Headlights

I found the actual problem... The connector forward of the battery isn't making good contact. How do I fix this? Everything will be fine, then it gets jostled just a little bit and I lose power...

    No Headlights

Well, I fixed it...Just not sure how. I pulled the fairings, checked the bulb sockets and had no power (no surprise), checked the main headlight relay, it was putting out juice. Checked the hi/lo relay, it wasn't getting any juice. Pulled apart a connector that had a green/blue wire, looked at...

    No Headlights

Did another test...Put the bike in diagnostic mode, 52 to test the headlight relay. I can hear the relay clicking, but the lights aren't doing anything. What's interesting is that w/the hi/lo relay unplugged, my aux lights turn on, but w/it plugged in, nothing happens...

    No Headlights

Pulled the hi/lo relay and it's got no power going to it at all, so I'm guessing the problem is the other relay. W/all of the dash panels off, I can see another relay just past the battery, is that the correct one to test next or is that probably the brake relay?
