New guy here still trying to figure forum out. Just took my 2014 ES in for 600 mile service. I have been surprised at how stiff the front forks are. Even with dampening setting at full soft I feel an awful lot of the small stuff. Is this just the new forks being tight and do they loosen up...

Just posting again as I was unable to post earlier. Took new es in for 600 mile service. Got a massive hole in the rear tire on the way from unkown road hazard. Had to ride ten miles with rear flat to get to shop.

Just breaking in my 2014 ES and loving it. Seems to me that the front fork compression dampening is a bit stiff. Even on the softest setting I feel a lot of small bumps I should be able to glide over. I run 2.5 weight fork oil in my dirt bikes for the same reason. I would like a supple ride...
