I need some enlightenment. If all I have for sensors are two wheel speed sensors how does the controller know chassis speed? Does the FJR have inertia sensors? Or are we talking the theoretical chassis speed, based on the faster of the wheel speed sensors? I don't have a factory manual to check...

The ABS will activate when the front and rear wheel speed sensors are not sending the same speed signal. If your front brake is pulsating due to ABS activation, then the controller is seeing a signal of the front wheel about to lock up. This can be due to one of the two wheel speed sensors or...

My first valve check at 40K miles required no adjustment. My second valve check at 80k miles required 4 shims to correct slightly tight valves. Work was done at dealer and I didn't ask for specfics.

Bike is staying at Roseville Yamaha a little longer,not riding this weekend. Crash was a minivan did an illegal lane change into the side of me at 30mph, I bounced down the road a bit and ended up with two broken ribs.
