Went to get the bike and the battery is dead. Finally figured out when checking dash lights I left the grip heaters on..oh well..couldn't be too hard to charge the battery? :unsure: Not the easiest access but after removing the plastic pieces a few times it got easier...don't ask...

Thanks All for the help. Checked/cleaned the connections I thought may effect it..no luck. Covered 1/8 of display as ionbeam sugessted and determined its the right bulb flashing. It has to be..maybe.. the bulb is heating up and then shutting off..then cooling and coming back on again...

Its just the LCD. I timed the changes...EXACTLY 4 seconds every time.

Whats weird is its a very consistant flash from hi to lo intensity. Every 5 seconds. Like its trying to tell me something.. :unsure:

The background light is flashing where the fuel/clock etc is located. I checked the diag codes and nothing there...any ideas why? Thanks

Girl smirks, sticks her complete upper torso out of the passenger window and I get the full frontal flash at 70 mph on the interstate. This happened to me once. But it was my pregnant ex-wife and she had a $ sign painted on her stomach. :P

Easy tire and brake replacement. Tire spooned on easier than any I've ever done. Maintenance seems to be a snap..except for the CCT. Was looking at that bugger today. I've read all the threads on doing it (even have one on order) It looks like a PIA to do..and I hate fixing it if it ain't...

I had found a very easy "how to" on replacing the cct. But..I lost it. Stupid me didnt bookmark it. Anyway it showed a picture of the motor removed which helped in locating everything. It also stated something about turning the crank 2 rotations "manually" to make sure it didn't jump a...
