Being this is a starter bike, the chance that you will need parts is pretty good. Go with the PW80. And you are correct, resale value is crazy on those PW's.

A standard GPS in a tank bag with a map window works pretty well and you won't need extra mounting. The map windows are not waterproof but very water resistant.

My '04 has Two Bros Exhaust and PCIII. Runs great and am averaging 40 + a little mpg. Never tried to baby it for better milage. To much fun just to play and ride.
