    Mirror Wideners by SW Motech

IMO the way that the FZ-1 mirrors fold upon impact may well save the fracture of the mirror attachment point ( 1MC-28356-01-00 ?) in addition to the improved viewing angle, made this change a no-brainier on my 2nd FJR.

If you know the part number, enter it in their search, you may be surprised with the results. I know I have been. The price difference has more than paid for shipping on multiple occasions. NBB

    Bridgestone BT-23R

Regarding the stock set of BT-23's. At 7200 miles, the front was scalloped and handling going away fast. However both tires had quite a both of tread left and neither was to the wear bars. Put on 30 Evo's (that I got with the rebate) and am very glad that I took off the 23's before being...

I know it's a couple weeks after the official tech day, that I sadly was not able to attend, but is there a possibility of getting some assistance with tire changes and balance?

Valve check... Should I leave well enough alone or dig in

It is time. There is a possibility it could only be a check but why take the chance. You state that you have a ride that "runs flawlessly and I you want to keep it that way". Replacing a CCT (if not already done) would be wise as well. Just performing the valve check maintenance opens up...

What did you do to your FJR today?

It's been colder here for 8 of the first 12 day in the new year with most overnight lows at -10F or colder, with daytimes rarely getting past the single digits. So to try and brighten my day I will be installing a Admore lite kit in the V56nnt. Both are in the house warming up for the...

    Wire Feed Welders

Fred, to clear up a spot in your breaker panel have you considered this option? Place a tandem circuit breaker which gives you a double circuit breaker that takes up the space of a single circuit breaker on a panelboard. ... AKA called duplex, slimline, twin, half-height, half-inch, double and...

What did you do to your FJR today?

Fitted the new Givi V56, and compared next to the V47. No riding as the roads were iced with a salty slush. It seems that DOT is only slopping down chemicals as I did not see any pushed snow on a 20+ mile commute in this morning.

I guess I'm going to have a little more time for riding now.

Congrats Kevin, and like you said you will have a bit more time to ride. And with that garage of toys it tough to enjoy them all, as much as THEY deserve.

My Impressions of the MV Motorrad Bar Riser

For me, the dhl part of the trip appeared to be the first leg of the journey till it got to the airport in Germany. There seemed to be a several day time lag when it got to the states (part of this time could be it was over the weekend). Mine once in the states came USPS. Total in transit time...

My Impressions of the MV Motorrad Bar Riser

I got mine this spring, and should have ordered as soon as I got the bike home from buying last fall. It took a couple of days to get used to the changes in position and repositioning, but IMO for me at 5'8" It is well worth the change. BTY I ordered direct and with the exchange at the time it...
