    Pay It Forward

OK, let me try a couple more pics... The ballasts. Pretty small. https://s1266.photobucket.com/user/Butlerplan/media/HID2003.jpg.html The wiring harness with relay and connectors... https://s1266.photobucket.com/user/Butlerplan/media/HID2004.jpg.html Normal sized bulbs...

    Pay It Forward

Working on pics... As far as I remember the kit does include a relay, ballasts and wiring harness. I believe it is both high and low beam. And I think the stock headlight wiring remains in the bike so if a bulb goes out on the road you just remove the dead HID bulb, install your spare stock...

    Pay It Forward

Good point. I just think this is such a great idea/thread and I didn't want to kill it by putting up something that nobody wanted. I guess this is something that's going to take a bit of a commitment time-wise to get installed...

    Pay It Forward

Wow, nobody wants these lights?? I thought for sure one of our more ambitious members would grab these as a great winter project. Or maybe somebody who already has this system installed would take this one as a backup for parts. Did I miss something?

    Pay It Forward

Thanks Chris. OK, up for grabs is a brand new, never out of the box Bi Xenon H4 HID light system from HID Country. 4300k color which I believe is close to the color of normal lights. Bought it in a caffeine-induced round of overly ambitious farkle planning. By the time it got here the buzz...

I'll take 'em! The PO of my '05 had lost them and I could never stomach the $100+ cost from Yamaha. PM sent.

    AirHawk size for 2013 FJR?

Actually, I think I have one sitting in the box on a shelf in my garage...Yep, got one. Medium Cruiser, like new, complete with straps, instructions and patch kit in the original box. Bought it 2 years ago and never really used it. Doubt it has 100 miles on it $50 shipped and its yours. PM...

Gen1 OEM Header - for sale

Sounds like a good project but I don't think they are interchangeable. Anybody know for sure?

Gen1 OEM Header - for sale

I bought an extra exhaust to do the Trooper Mod and it came with this header, which I don't need. It has a minor ding on one of the pipes, no more than 1/4" deep. It's in a place where nobody can see it and I can't believe it would affect performance in any way, but I took pictures and you...

I figured it was for a Gen2 but the seat was for a Gen1 so I thought I'd make sure. Thx.

    Anybody need a Gen1 gasket?

So I have a Gen1 CCT gasket, oil pump cover gasket and right side crankcase cover gasket. I bought them when I did my 26k CCT/valve check and never used 'em. If anybody else needs them or is getting ready to do their CCT or valves and wants to have them around just in case, let me know, I'll...

The Really, Definitely Completely Un-Authorized TBS

I think I'm with Canadian on this. As I read the thread and guys suggested using a dyno my first thought was to put it in gear and use the rear brake. I guess I would do the procedure the way Fred et al lay it out and then, with the manometer still hooked up, put it in gear, load up the engine...

So how'd this work out? I'm looking for a project for next weekend!

New part #'s for Gen I front caliper seals ($91 delivered)

....hope they're no worse than the old parts that are a literal drag. Does a rebuild fix that? I don't actually have a problem with my FJR but I also have a GSX-R that seems to have a lot of front brake drag. It's an '05 that I bought last fall with 3800 miles so it must have sat for quite a...
