"I want you to enjoy your bike."

Mac, I'm so sorry to hear this news, only learning of your shared ordeal on returning to this forum after several months. While the bonds of love never die, the pain of separation from any dear one — a friend, or colleague or parent or spouse — is not often an easy thing to bear. Even with...

    YFO Room Share Thread

Hi all! Due to my work situation, I can only tentatively commit to this outing, but that should be resolved in the next few days. In any event, I'm holding reservations for Thu/Fri/Sat night at the Mariposa Lodge. One room, two queen beds, and I'm only planning on using one of the beds...

    First Bike?

I rode various Honda 100/350/450 and Yamaha RD350 borrowed during my high school years and later, but the first bike I actually owned was a 1977 Suzuki T-500 Titan that I purchased new during college. The last Titans were built in 1976, and offered in the 1977 model year. Finally sold it a...

    Deer Damage

Sorry to hear about your accident (Assuming it to be so. No telling just what the the deer's true intentions were). Glad you are able to write to us about it. You also titled this post "deer damage", but I notice that you made no mention of the animal's actual injuries. I can only imagine that...

    Anyone installed an internal TPMS

Yep. Been running internal TPMS system (the SmarTire system - see ancient archeological references for info :-) for 10+ years now. Only had to change out the sensors (with integral non-replaceable batteries) once.

    Rider/Pillion Peg Lowering Brackets

Yeah, I haven't heard good things about the MCL driver peg lowering kit wrt ground clearance. But I never had any issue with their passenger peg lowering kit. YMMV...

    Rider/Pillion Peg Lowering Brackets

As my kids grew taller, the stock passenger pegs wouldn't cut it, so I installed Knifemaker's floorboards along with the passenger peg lowering brackets. The kids liked that much better.

What's the Weather like where YOU are today?

My brother down in Fort Lauderdale should be getting the first rains from the storm as I write this. Said the local stores weren't crowded. There was no bread left, but they did have ice (just got a shipment), and he got the last four bottles of Pusser's Rum.

O.E.S. Frame Sliders - Brand New - Never Installed - Mint Condition

The frame sliders likely supplied by OES assume that you are bolting them directly in place of the forward motor mounting bolts. But attaching them further outboard atop a set of previously installed canyon cages requires even longer bolts, and bolts of the correct size are very uncommon and so...
