Sadly the wizards (lizzards?) leading our two countries announced today the extension of the US Canada border closure to at least July 21st. Will catch all y'all next time - maybe try to work in the Reuben this Fall.  There will be a King room at the Chateau freed up later today.  😟

The Canada/US border is now closed to non-essential travel through June 21st - they have been pushing that date out one month at a time, At BigJohn's suggestion I will hang onto my room for now and see what develops, but I am not optimistic... If I don't make it, have fun y'all!

I have a Zumo 396 coming and will need a new shade. Happy to pay Pterodactyl to build me one and happy to promote him on the FJR Canada FB site too - if he wishes...

OK - new tapered bearings instal seemed like a bridge too far right now, not least of which is that I can't source the bearings. I did watch Brian Glynn's video on TWO and now I am thinking that it would be worthwhile to do a bearing repack and re-torque first and see if that helps my issue...

If say a crazy Canuck was to head down for Tech Day is there sufficient skill and experience within the collective to install tapered steering head bearings in a 2016 ES? If so, where would such a fellow source some quality (Timken or similar) bearings? Asking for a friend

Does anyone have a sidestand foot that they would be prepared to part with? I put my last one on my 2006 using red locktite so it has gone with the bike!

Just added one last month to my 2016ES with a Puig windshield. Still in experimenting stage (best positions for different speeds and winds) but it's easy to adjust and very effective. I like a quiet air pocket if using my communicator with SWMBO and this gives me that.

The FastJoyRiders are in! We booked a "sleeper" queen room at the Willow Springs Motel across the street ($95/night). Wanting to continue our long-standing marriage, I was hesitant to book Sylvia into accommodations that are unheated at the Settlement! See y'all in a couple of months.
