    Apalachicola run

Robin & I headed over to Apalachicola on Sat afternoon to have some oysters. The place is famous for them and we had never been. The weather was a perfect 75 degrees and crystal clear. with detours...290 miles round trip. We rode some inland back roads east from Niceville then turned south...

    Passing Multiple Cars

I make sure the driver directly infront of me sees me by slightly weaving, moving close in on hi left side and then out, etc. My body language is showing him, and everyone else that I am going and I am looking for the same signals from them. When I make the decision to go though, I "light the...

    Police Chase in UK

I am pretty sure it's the Busa that is in the link I put up in post #7. There is a good video in that link of the LEO pulling a car over. The bike does has "POLICE" written on it and I think it has lights.

    FJR and Computers

I have gone 7000 miles with my standard-sized Dell laptop packed and have had no problems. From 40 to 108 degrees. I bought the smallest laptop case I could find and then wrap that in a plastic garbage bag. It fits perfectly in the Yami trunk...FLAT about half way up. I just fold my softest...

    Police Chase in UK

I wonder what kind of unmarked bike the cop following him was on. He hit 140 as well. And it probably would be a bike with some sort of storage and an upright seating position. Could it be a police Feej? Maybe it was this Busa...

The Million Mile Challenge. Who's In?

+1874. General riding and a N.GA trip. 11,350 mile since the bike was purchased in March. Still loving it and still staring at it in the garage.

2 months into the new bike...

Exactly. I have mine sitting right in front of the stock speedo...which I dont really use anymore.   My only complaint is the teeny tiny turn signal indicators. The Gen I's are much better.

    FJR for two up

we did over 7000 miles this summer - two up- much of it multi day w/ all our gear loaded. lots of back roads and twisties...and had no issues. Of course, my wife is 5'1", 115 lbs, so that may make a difference. All in all..a great bike!

    Factory Heated Grips stopped working

And the winner is....ADANIEL! Wire in the throttle assemble was broken. My bet is that installing the G2 began the problem. Soldered/heat shrinked and HOT as hell again. Thanks all.

FJR 1300 Comparison To Sports Bikes

+1 My previous touring vehicle was a 928 GTS and if an FJR was a car....that'd be the one. 171 mph top end, 50/50 weight distribution but with room for your luggage. It is not intended to be a total performance vehicle...just a bad *** touring machine. Here was mine and, to me, it even looks...
